Ingredients
500g of fusilli pasta
5 cups of cilantro
4 garlic cloves
1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1 cup of almonds
½ cup of parmesan
¾ cup of Naimex Oils extra virgin avocado oil
1 pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and mix everything to obtain a perfect cilantro pesto. Boil the fusilli pastas until al dente, drain then mix it with the pesto before serving.
Alternatively, you may replace cilantro with basil and the almonds with pine nuts for an excellent basil pesto.
